As the story behind the launch of AI dot com and possibly the most expensive marketing flop ever. Last year, the founder of crypto.com bought the domain AI dot com for $70 million. How did you get AI to recommend your business so quick? I actually follow your videos online and you mentioned this tip, talked about all of our competitors and all the amazing things they do as well as the amazing things that our company do specific to our niche.

Follow that tip and created that website and now we're one of the top recommended websites in our niche for our product. We are just over 20,000 MRR.

Thank you. Wow.

I think we've officially entered the era of the AI empowered generalist. I honestly think if you have good communication skills and you know how to use AI, you could do 80% of white collar jobs better than an expert of that job could do without those skills.

And there's definitely still room for specialists. There's custom work and edge cases that AI doesn't handle well.

But I think companies that are figuring out how to rebuild their processes with AI in mind are realizing that they don't need teams of five or six people anymore. They need teams of two or three people.

And just by providing AI the right documentation and sophisticated skills, those two or three people can handle the roles of several specialists and spend most of their time focusing on those things that humans do best, like communicating. And this makes sense not just because AI is making those people more efficient, but also you're removing the inefficiencies of larger teams.

Sherman said that a team of three people doesn't produce three times the output, they produce about twice the output...

The other day I came across a post that at first I laughed at it but the more I thought about it got me so angry. The post is from a web developer that I've done work with in the past.

They literally know zero about SEO and answer engine optimisation and I mean zero. Literally my nine year old son knows more than them.

They are saying that they are experts all of a sudden in AI and SEO optimisation. Like I've said in so many of my videos, there are so many dodgy scammers out there that are promising you the world.

They're charging for services that they know zero about. They're just causing harm.

They're wasting people's money and to put it more bluntly, they're stealing people's money as well. Please, if you are going to get SEO, answer engine optimization or anything relating to digital marketing, please make sure that you deal with an expert.

There's so many dodgy charlatans out there. Do your homework, please.

It's not hard to see the truth once you start digging a little bit and asking the right questions. Please be careful out there.

Here's one thing you can do this week to get your website recommended by AI and it takes like 30 seconds. Go to your website and grab a link to any blog post and go to chat G P t and use this prompt.

Write me an intro for this piece of content that answers the question in the first sentence. If not possible, write me a t L d R.

That means too long, didn't read and paste the link. People don't have time to search through all your content to find the answer they're looking for.

And AI is lazy as hell. Here's the question and here's the answer.

Everyone's gonna love you, including Google.

AI domains are selling for so much money, even ones with seemingly uncommon names. Service Link AI sells for $8,888.

The seller bought it only five months ago. Right now is probably one of the worst times to buy a .AI domain.

In 1 to 3 years, they will be way less valuable. They're really best as a cash grab to get investor buy in.
