Base2026 is an open, local-first knowledge base project that turns public short-form expert videos into attributed, searchable, readable knowledge records.
The project started as a personal SEO/SMM research notebook and is evolving into a public, creator-attributed discovery layer for marketers, researchers, and builders.
Base2026 is not a social network clone, not a video re-hosting platform, and not a mass transcript dump. The goal is to build a reliable searchable layer over public short-form expert knowledge, with attribution, provenance, opt-out, and correction workflows.
Why this exists
Short-form platforms contain practical knowledge: marketing tactics, SEO observations, platform updates, creator experiments, sales advice, product positioning, and operational lessons. The problem is that this knowledge is difficult to search, compare, cite, and revisit.
Base2026 turns that stream of public spoken knowledge into structured source records, searchable passages, topic pages, and public discovery paths.

Current limitations
- Transcription is local-first and working, but historical QA still requires source/audio verification for some rows.
- TikTok and Instagram extraction are unstable by nature.
- Small VPS is not suitable for heavy ASR/transcription workloads.
- AI-powered open-ended answer generation is not yet a public feature.
- Creator claim workflow and public change log are planned.
- Visitor-level usage analytics and search-demand analytics are planned.
Development sequence
Phase 1 - Public Trust Foundation
Status: Live
Purpose: Keep the public project understandable and accountable while the database grows.
The public layer has a live search workspace, source records, creator/topic pages, methodology, source policy, privacy notes, and correction/removal paths.

Phase 2 - Content Ingestion Pipeline

Purpose: Turn public creator videos into reviewed source text, searchable passages, and source-backed intelligence.
The pipeline is live for reviewed public exports, but historical transcript QA, source-review debt, and automated handoff hardening are still active work.
