Most of the content online is now AI generated. According to some research, by 2026, it's estimated that up to 90% of the content online could be AI generated. If you're a business or have any kind of brand, creating content could seem pointless.
But I wanna talk about why I think this is actually the best time to be creating content while we are racing into a future where the vast majority of content is at least partially AI generated. As we all know right now, most of that content is terrible. At the same time, algorithms like TikTok are getting better and better at surfacing the content we actually want to see, which is why a small fraction of 1% of the content get the vast majority of the attention.
And of course, the reason for this explosion in content is because AI is making it easier than ever to create the content. And I don't just mean the low quality content. If you still think that all AI content is low quality, you haven't been paying attention now.
Yes, if you just go and put a prompt into ChatGPT asking for an article or you try a video generator like v 0 3 or Sora 2, the outputs gonna be generic and low quality. And that's because there are specific parts of the content generation process that AI still can't replicate most notably context, unique insights and personality. But that's the part that's easy.
For you, if you have any kind of extensive experience in your field or industry, you can take those insights and amplify them with AI. So what am I talking about? Let me walk you through a process.
We used to do this for ourselves and some of our clients. I think the best way to start is just to pull out your phone and ramble into the camera like I'm doing right now. I'm walking my dog right now.
It's not taking any time out of my day. And if you can tel
ur phone and ramble into the camera like I'm doing right now. I'm walking my dog right now. It's not taking any time out of my day.
And if you can tell, I'm just speaking a few sentences at a time. This gives me time to think before each sentence. And then once I'm done, I just drag this into my AI video editor Descript and it automatically takes out all the bad takes and the gaps.
We then have Claude Projects that take the transcript of the video and turn that into a LinkedIn post, a Reddit post, an X post, and one that drafts all the titles, descriptions and captions for us to post across the various platforms. Every video also becomes a blog post optimized for search engines on our website. We start by running the transcript through Gemini to identify the questions answered in the video.
We give those questions to ChatGPT Deep Research to collect some data, stats and quotes around each question. And then we give the transcript deep research and our article writing guidelines to Claude To write the blog post and this is done inside a Claude project that already has all the information about our brand as well as all the internal links on our website. The entire process takes about 30 minutes and it gives us 10 pieces of high quality content.
Not only does this help us get found on each other respective platforms, it also helps us rank higher in Google. And I think most importantly in the future, it increases our visibility and the large language models who eat up all this content.
