Creative production improves when tools are chosen for the specific editing, prompt, design, or repurposing job instead of as generic software.
This effect looks way more complicated than it actually is. I made it in Adobe Express, and I've partnered with them to show you exactly how. First, record a video of yourself talking to the camera.
Then you're gonna take a few screenshots of the video. I'd recommend at least five. Upload the screenshots into Adobe Express and place each one on its own page.
Then use Remove background to cut out the background and the erase tool to erase everything except for your head. Repeat this process for all of your screenshots. This is optional: add a filter if you want a specific look.
And now it's time to animate them. Create a new mobile video project. Copy and paste each floating head into the project, which will then place them on separate layers.
Now adjust the timing of each layer. Each floating head is going to be point one seconds long. And super important, be sure to stagger your floating heads so that each one starts when the previous one ends.
Record your voice over and then duplicate your floating heads until they match the length of your voice over. From here, you can add in a background using Adobe Express's media, and that's it. You have just created a floating head animation.
