All you have to do is go into any ad on Facebook and Instagram and click those three dots on the right hand side, scroll down and then you're gonna see there's something that says, why am I seeing that ad? Click on that over there, then you're gonna see that two tabs are gonna come up.

The first one is advertiser choices and the second one is your activity. Click on both of them and you're gonna get a wealth of information.

You're gonna see why people are targeting you, some of the interests that they've chosen, some the categories that you fall under, and a whole lot more. You can keep on doing this over and over again for any ads that you see on Facebook and Instagram.

And it really is an unbelievable hack. You can now ethically copy the targeting methods that any advertiser out there is using.

What Google can help you with if you are a trademark owner, Google will prevent other advertisers from using your brand name in their text ads. This is obviously done to protect your brand and also it's done so people don't think that they're clicking on your company when in fact they are clicking on competitors.

What Google won't help you with is that they won't prevent other advertisers from bidding on your name and putting a text ad when someone searches your brand. You have to go first, create a complaint with Google, create a request, then report an infringement on this page over here.
