There's a brand new report by Similarweb and Rand Fishkin. It's called The Downstream Impact of AI Visibility. I would say to that this is compulsory reading and I'll tell you why in the last few months people have been summarising the impact of AI.

Now for the first time there's data and there's backup to show how important this impact of AI actually is. The first thing that the report says is that companies and brands that are recommended by AI are two and a half times more likely to get a visit from the user that has seen that search. That's vitally important.

The second thing is that companies and brands that are recommended by AI, the user spends two times more of the actual time than usual on that website and also looks at two times more content. Again, that is very powerful as well. The next thing is that the report brings out and this is important is that search is not dead as a result of AI.

No, not at all. People are now gonna be searching the brand that there was recommended by AI more and this report brings out again is that branded results are usually gonna be higher as a result of the brands being recommended by AI. Now this is the final important thing is that in Google Analytics or any attribution model that you looking for you are not going to see that report And you're not going to see that stat from people coming from AI because they've been recommended coming to your company as a channel.

Remember, people are going on a chatbot or AI looking for something seen your company mentioned, then going later and then possibly doing a brand search. A lot of the KPRs that company should be focusing on is the brand visibility and the share of voice of AI. Again, I would say to you, this report is fascinating and compulsory and you should go read it.

I've put a

d visibility and the share of voice of AI. Again, I would say to you, this report is fascinating and compulsory and you should go read it. I've put a link to it in the comments below.
