Here's how to sort out your personal finances with AI for free, without any of it leaving your laptop. We're using offline AI so everything stays on the machine. I'm on my razor blade with an Nvidia RTX 50 90 in it and that GPU is what lets me run the top offline AI models really smoothly.
No internet, nothing uploaded. And you can do this on any machine, but it might be a bit slower for you without a mega laptop like this. So first get your financial stuff in one folder.
Bank statements, receipts, whatever you've got. Now of course, you can export your bank statements as pdfs from your banking app and then open your offline AI. You could use anything LLM, which is a free app that lets you download and run offline AI models from the likes of Google Meta OpenAI.
And yes, this is all free. So make a new workspace, drag it all in, and use this prompt create a personal finance report categorizing my spending, highlighting opportunities to save money and spend more wisely. Now, if I was doing this in a web based AI that I'm paying a subscription for, I can only upload a few statements at a time and I don't know where that information's going.
On the laptop. The files are here. My RTX 50 90 powers through them really quickly.
It's completely different and you can ask genuinely useful questions. How much did I spend on Subscriptions last month and it pulls the real figure straight from the statements. Which direct debits have gone up since last year.
Am I on track for my savings goal? It's free, quick, easy, and even works with the Wi Fi off. And special thanks to Nvidia for sponsoring this video.
