Now a lot of people load big images on their websites not really thinking that it's gonna reduce the website speed but obviously the bigger the image size, the more pressure it puts on the server and then the website loads slower. the easiest way to reduce any image size is by converting a JPEG or P N G into something called a web P. I think that's how you pronounce it.

Anyway, here's an image that my client wants to load on their blog. The image size without doing any editing is a P N G and you can see the file size is 1 meg. what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna go to Google and just type in a search, convert P N G to web P online.

I'm gonna click on one of those results over there. I've used this specific website so many times and it's great and it's totally free to use. All I have to do is upload my P N G then convert it to a web P, give it a few seconds and download it.

Take a look at this new image that I've created and downloaded. It looks Exactly the same as that P n G, but the file size is now 1 32 k b. That is a fraction of the size of that 1 meg image that was done before.

I'm gonna load this image on my blog and now this blog and the website is gonna load faster. There are plugins that one can use that will bulk convert all the big heavy images on your website to Webp. This really will make a difference.
