Gamma just hosted one of the biggest New York City Tech Week events I've ever been to. They rented out the Manhattan Ballroom, and every single creator and founder that I know in the tech space was at the event. If you don't know what gamma is, which I actually didn't know before the event, it's an AI tool that lets you make really cool and aesthetic presentations, slide decks, and web pages from just prompts.

Went into the event not knowing what to expect. So they had an open bar with a bunch of small bites from waiters walking around. I didn't know what to do, so I spent a lot of time eating every single piece of food that I could get my hands on from the waiters, and every single one was so good.

I told myself to stop being awkward and not socializing with anyone. So I grabbed a drink from the bar in order to give myself some confidence. I happen to be sitting next to Silicon Valley Girl, so I talked to her about the growing AI space and if the bubble will pop.

Then I got interviewed and basically told everyone that my hot take in AI is that AI valuations are not inflated because the demand for AI is still insanely huge and growing at an accelerated rate. After talking to a few more people I met on the internet, I got really tired of socializing until I met this guy, the founder of Stan Store, who I respect a lot because he just hit 40 million ARR for building tools for creators.

I got interviewed again, but this time by him and he mentioned how they were building an AI personal assistant tool for content creators. The main show started. I was able to hear talk from Malcolm Gladwell, which is insane because growing up I read a lot of his books, including outliers and Tipping Point.
