Google just did something really sneaky that most people missed. And if you don't have a Google Search Console account, go sign up right now. It's what lets you submit your site to Google and see into the algorithm.

And if you wanna rank on Google, you need to know about this. They're releasing a new feature that lets you see how your website is ranking in generative AI. If you're ranking in AI Overviews, that means that Google trusts your website and will be more likely to recommend your products or services.

So here's how to gain their trust. Let's say somebody makes a search like, what hot sauce pairs with Pinot Noir wine? I don't know why they search that, but they did.

AI Overviews is going to give you the answers, but they're going to be citing very specific places. And the only way to show up here is if you have a piece of content that is answering that question. Now when you ask, where can I get a good Pino Nero in Saint Catherine, you'll be more likely to show up here.
