Engineering work and educational SEO examples

These examples show how I identify a problem, make a change and check it. The Base2026 notes describe work on my own product. The roofing example uses synthetic data to explain an SEO audit and measurement format.

Owned project

Base2026: controls for a public research product

Base2026 is my separate research and tool project. It publishes attributed source records and research material. The engineering work includes deciding which information can be public and which pages belong in search discovery.

Public build metadata

The problem was that build objects could carry machine-local paths into public manifests. The repair used explicit allowed fields and a recursive check for path-shaped values before publication.

The check answers a narrow question: does the declared public metadata follow its publication rules? It does not establish the security of every part of the product.

Sitemap admission

Some source records serve a provenance purpose while carrying a noindex rule. The sitemap work separated the existence of a record from its eligibility for search discovery.

The sitemap checks the page’s indexing rule and canonical URL. Source admission distinguishes public records from archives and material held for future work. These controls do not measure rankings or traffic.

You can inspect the public methodology, the current sitemap and my public GitHub work. Those links provide product context. These examples make no claim about client leads or revenue.

Educational illustration

Golem Roofing: how to read an SEO work example

The roofing SEO illustration shows a starting site structure, a proposed service and location page map, and separate measurements for search clicks, query coverage and AI-search observations.

All figures in the Golem example are synthetic. Its charts and query examples demonstrate the format. They are not client results, a testimonial or a forecast for your business.

The useful part is the sequence: identify the weak page or technical rule, specify the change, then examine each measurement on its own terms. A change to a sitemap can be verified directly. Whether it improves search discovery requires later evidence.

Start with a question about your site

Send the website and the issue you need to understand. The free first look can help identify a useful next step. A Diagnostic Audit starts at $750 when the problem needs a deeper review.
