Before you spend any time or money on SEO, you need to check this file on your website. I can't tell you the amount of times I've seen this file completely screw up your chances of ranking. Go to your website browser, type in yourdomain/robots.txt. If you see disallow: / this is telling search engines not to index your site. Anything else you've done is irrelevant.
