But if you take Google's AI overviews into this, this yellow sliver is ChatGPT. The smaller sliver is all the other AIs. Everything else is Google's AI overviews. Google sends far more traffic than AI. 41%. ChatGPT is only 1.24%. The trick is to target keywords that won't trigger AI overviews, or that AI assistants want to send traffic to. 99% of keywords that trigger AI overviews are informational in intent, so target transactional keywords.
