Have you created social media profiles for your business? Do you have a Facebook page, a YouTube channel, a TikTok? In my experience, most small businesses only have one or two social profiles. Some have zero. And it seems like the biggest reason businesses aren't creating all of their social profiles is they think it might be embarrassing for someone to see that they don't have a lot of followers or even worse that they're trying to get followers and failing. And I think historically this fear has actually made sense. But I feel like we're hitting a sort of tipping point. See, when being on Instagram or being on YouTube was a novel, when the majority of businesses weren't on these platforms, then it was kind of embarrassing to put yourself out there and not get much of a following. But we're reaching a point where it's kind of the norm, where people expect you to be on these platforms.

And then if you can find five minutes a day, five minutes a week, five minutes a month just to make a little bit of content, you can easily put yourself in the top 10% of business owners by having some videos actually showing off your products and services. So stop putting it off. Set aside 15 minutes today and get those profiles made.
